If you choose to have a brand tattoo placed on your body because you really enjoy a certain product, it may also be considered a fan tattoo. For example, you may be a huge fan of the comic strip Peanuts and, therefore, you choose to have a tattoo of Snoopy, Woodstock, or Charlie Brown tattooed on you. These images are, indeed, brand images. But, you may choose to add them to your body because you relate to these characters or because they invoke special memories and you are, quite simply, a fan of the comic strip and its characters.
