Kat Von D. Moment

To kick-start Moments for the year 2008, we have MySpace celeb Kat Von D. who has her own TV show, LA Ink. (Which I'm pretty much sure is about tattoos and everything related to it.) I'm not sure if I consider her to be hot as I'm not a big fan of tattoos, so you be the judge...or something.

I am majorly obsessing over this girl at the moment. I was toying with the idea of getting a tattoo and started buying tattoo books so I bought both of hers as I had heard she was a pretty rad tattoo artist. The books were awesome so then I started watching LA Ink. Wow. I have never wanted a tattoo so much in my life and I really want her to do it, although that is a bit of a jump as she lives in LA and, well, I don't. However I have found a local shop with a really good rep so that will have to do:D

Anyway, back to Kat Von D. She is hot, she has amazing tattoos and she is super intelligent. She always knows what she's doing and why she's doing it and her art work is immense. I have never been so impressed by tattoos and now I REALLY WANT ONE!

No, that’s not chemical burns in the pic on the left; it’s Kat Von D wearing her own line of tattoo concealer for Sephora, but without all the retouching on the right. See if you can guess which of those they’re running in the ad campaign. But it’s good to know they’ve got back up pics if psoraisis and Rocky Mountain Fever ever become all the rage in 2009. Wouldn’t want to put all our eggs in one lie-blackened basket, now would we, Sephora?
